MIKE BILLETEROctober 19th 2023My wife and I switched over to First Dakota from Wells Fargo about 4 months ago and have been very grateful we made the jump. We held out for a long time because we didn't want to go through the hassle of changing banks, but now that we're at FD, I wish we had switched years ago. Customer service that really does do whatever it takes to take care of you. Beyond that, now that we've switched, we've noticed more and more how involved First Dakota is in the community. It's like when you're car shopping and you suddenly start seeing the car you're looking at everywhere on the road. Once we started looking, we realized FD was everywhere community-wise, which is important to us. Prior to this we just had a bank. Now we actually love our bank, which seems weird to say, but it's really true.

FELIX TEKATAugust 24th 2021If you live in Sioux Falls this should be your bank. They provide a checking account that doesn't "fee" you to death or require some ludicrous amount to stay in your account. More than that, their customer service is actually (gasp) service for their customers. Here is one example: I set up an account three months ago and when I went in there for the first time since then the teller called me by name as I walked in the bank. I almost fainted. It is refreshing to be treated like your patronage matters.
