We searched in Sioux City, Omaha, Sioux Falls and finally the little town of Brandon. Dakota Floors carried a large floor plank made by Haro. An asolutely fantastic and durable product that is beautiful in our home. Installation was simple and what was greatly appreciated was the available help from Josh Hofer when I had questions. He was very accommodating with his time and knowledge. Figuratively speaking, Dakota Floors is a breath of fresh air!

We replaced our upstairs about 2 years ago and main floor this past year with oak hardwood. It is still as beautiful as the day we put it in. We were very nervous that it would scratch and look bad with the amount of traffic in our home from kids, family, and friends. Thanks to Josh we are so glad we decided to go with the oak flooring! Recently we finished our basement with luxury vinyl wood look and once again we couldn’t be more happy! Thanks!

In each case, we have been extremely pleased with the level of service, transparency in dealing with us as customers, quality of product lines, and professional advisement leading to successful project completion. We have worked extensively with Josh Hofer and found him to be extraordinarily honest and caring in trying to match product lines, peripheral installation materials, and pricing in alignment with our needs as consumers. At times, we were admittedly "high maintenance" customers in our effort to ensure the finished product aligned with our overarching goals as homeowners. To this end, we often asked many questions along the way during these projects, but Josh always responded to our inquiries in a helpful, friendly, and prompt manner to ensure we felt a level of confidence that this major purchase indeed enhanced the appearance and value of our home. There has never been a moment when we felt he was simply looking to make a quick sale. And, if there was a question of pricing, he was always candid in regard to quality levels and clearly articulating the "value proposition" at various price-points and providing us with accurate information upon which to make informed decisions on this major purchase. We have come to appreciate this level of integrity/honesty in conducting business with us regarding a major home improvement purchase. I am an executive level administrator of a local University and am frequently compelled to engage with many product and service vendors on facility issues relating to our core operations as a University. In each of those cases, we obviously pay attention to pricing and quality considerations, but moreover, we want to know that our product and service providers stand behind their promises and actually answer their phones to discuss issues of relevance when necessary. As private consumers, we have similar expectations of the same level of service. Josh Hofer and Dakota Floors have answered that call each and every time we have determined to purchase and install a product from them. The level of communication before, during, and after the installation process has been second-to-none. They make a ton of different types of floors in-house, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. We wasted so much time at other stores in town dealing with people that frankly were not helpful or didn’t know the answers to our questions. That’s kinda what to expect when all you do is sell products from different companies.
Dakota Floors has an amazing staff that blew everyone else out of the water. They answered all our questions, walked us through the different types of floors, and professionally installed everything for us. We now have an amazingly beautiful white stained white oak floor in our new house that is unlike anything else I’ve seen offered in the other stores in town. These guys now have a customer for life!
